Concord is pleased to sponsor Naomi Nah so that she may attend school.  Pray for Naomi and her family.

Naomi's 2002 School Picture

Please pray how God would have you to respond to the tremendous need in Belize.  Sponsoring a child is easy and it means so much for the boys and girls to be able to go to school!  Sponsorship provides a child new books, uniforms, tuition, supplies, and a book bag for one year.

Please read Ana's letter - it will touch your heart

When you click the link below a dialog box will ask you what to do with the file.  Please answer Open when asked! (You will need PowerPoint or the free PowerPoint viewer (available here) installed on your computer)

Vision Statement

Concord Baptist Church will minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Roaring Creek Belize.  We will look beyond our personal, physical and spiritual borders to meet the needs of others in Roaring Creek.  We will strive to be the hands and feet of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Mission Statement

In cooperation with Penny and Ralph Digman and through personal witness, feeding programs, construction, evangelistic meetings, children's Bible schools, and medical missions assistance Concord Baptist Church will minister Christ's love and His kingdom to the Roaring Creek area (and beyond) of Belize.  We will aid the indigenous believers to realize their full potential in Christ Jesus and take their place on the harvest field.  As we accomplish this purpose, Jesus Christ shall remain in the center of all that we do.  Lord, we will go where You send us!

The specific goals and priorities of this ministry are:

>                   To evangelize with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We will accomplish this through personal witnessing, relationships with and the support of existing churches, evangelistic crusades, prayerwalking, children's ministries and other evangelistic endeavors.

>                  To disciple believers into churches and equip them to fulfill Christ's commission.

>                  To minister to the children and youth realizing that they are the future leaders of the country and the church.  To care for their needs, both physical and spiritual and provide them opportunities to realize their full potential in Christ Jesus.

>                  To minister to the physical needs through clothing, food, medical help and any other means possible in accordance with Matthew 25:35‑40.

>                 To build a home for the Bush family.

>                 To deliver and distribute personal hygiene items to area residents.

God has called us to develop a new ministry - Backpacks for Belize.  This exciting new ministry will deliver backpacks filled with school supplies and an inexpensive toy for children who are not sponsored.  You cannot imagine the joy your simple gift will bring to the life of a child who has known nothing but crushing poverty all their life.  Please click here for information on this vital new ministry!

Further information will be posted as we continue planning.  Check back after our trip in June for pictures of the progress on the church!
