Ana's Letter

This is a letter written by a sponsored child to her sponsors in the United States.

The artwork, including the vine around the second page is all hand-drawn.

Sponsoring a child means so much to them, as you can see from the letter, and costs so little.

Imagine that you are Ana and you have never been to school, but you want to go so badly.  There is so much to learn, but no one can teach you.  One day a man comes through your valley and tells you that you are going to be able to go to school.  Can you imagine the joy she felt?  Can you imagine the pride she felt as she took her seat in school for the first time?

You can give a child that same joy and pride for only $200.00, that is .55 cents a day!

Most Americans will spend more than the cost of sponsorship ($200.00) over the course of a year and never know where the money went.  Investing that same $200.00 in the life of a Belizean child gives that child their only chance to get an education and gives them hope for a better future.

One-hundred percent (100%) of your sponsorship money is used directly on the child.  All of the people involved in this ministry are volunteers.  In fact, they spend their own money to travel to Belize in August to pass out the school supplies your generosity has provided.  Your money pays for tuition, uniforms, books, and school supplies.  Any of our Belize teams will be happy to deliver a present from you to your child the next time they are in Belize if you are unable to join us on the trip.
